  2. Shank – ‘Salute Remix’ (ft Wizkid) & ‘Ghetto’
    Nov 24, 2011 // Audio // ShadeNonConformist

After much anticipation, Shank finally drops the remix for ‘Salute’. He features Wizkid on it. Chill remix.

The other track is called ‘Ghetto’. I really dig it. Plus the beat is rocking. The track was produced by Sarz so go figure…Dope stuff…

    Enjoy…

    Press release below:

“HERE we have it! The much anticipated remix of the already massive single “Salute” sees Nigerian Pop/Reggae SHANK star link up with E.M.E’s very own Starboy WIZKID to sublime results. Crafted by producer of the moment SARZ with lush marching drums and percussions, “Salute (Remix)” is a very powerful and captivating milieu upon which SHANK and WIZKID superbly exchange fierce and enthralling verses to bring about this EXCELLENT opus of a remix that proves to be 100% well worth the wait!

Taking the solo route on “Ghetto” which serves as his forthcoming single, SHANK calls upon SARZ once again to provide yet another banging production laced with head bopping drum patterns and signature trumpet arrangements and on this one, SHANK shows just why he is one of the most prominent artists in African music as he rides the beat beautifully with his unique and captivating flow and style that you cannot be help but be hooked for all three minutes and forty eight seconds of “Ghetto.”
